The foodie, coffee, matcha loving person I am wanted to focus on tasty eats and tasty drinks I’ve tried. The simple pleasures in life matter, and food is definitely a nice way to get out of my ordinary routine, and it is a simple outing to catch up with friends, or a way to treat yourself. I am sharing a list of some really tasty food and drinks I’ve recently got to try.

Let us begin with drinks:

Pandor

Pandor has an amazing selection of drinks, pastries, brunch, dinner, and dessert options. Above pictured is their OMG Latte, and it is true to its name. This drink has espresso, vanilla and caramel syrup, whip cream, and creme brûlée sauce on top!! Yes they torch it!!!!

Salty Horse

Salty Horse Cafe has coffee, matcha, tea refreshers, and smoothie options. For the food they have lunch and dinner items, ranging from vegan options to burgers, poke bowls, tacos, burritos and fish and chips to name a couple. Above pictured is their strawberry matcha.

Makenna Coffee

Makenna Coffee Company has too many coffee and tea options to list, they truly have a drink for everyone with their many concoctions. Check out their menu and you will instantly understand what I am saying.

Summerfield Tea Bar

Summerfield Tea Bar, now if you ever want late night boba and some tasty snack items this place closes at 1AM! A late night treat you may just need! They have several boba tea options, and snack items like fries and popcorn chicken. Perfect place for a late night snack, or late night chat.

Moongoat Greenhouse

Churro Latte: dulce de leche, vanilla, and a cinnamon blend, it's oh so good!

Now For Food:

Salmon Bagel

Moongoat has a few locations, but one of the main locations I go to is their greenhouse location. They have a really nice outdoor area you can sit in and several seats indoors as well, along with a lot of natural lighting just like a greenhouse. They have several food and drink options, teas and coffees, bagels and sandwiches, and pastries as well.

Hook & Anchor

Hook & Anchor is where you want to be if you enjoy seafood. Y’all they are ranked the #1 lobster roll place in California, and the #5 seafood restaurant in the U.S.! They have appetizers ranging from deviled eggs, calamari fries, ceviche, cauliflower steak, and lobster mac and cheese (with more tasty options to choose from on the menu). For their entrees they have seafood items, and if you want something not exactly on the seafood side you can choose between a chicken sandwich, a burger, or steak. Definitely a must try!

Gaucho Grill Argentine Steakhouse

The bread with the dipping sauce in the middle was the absolute best!! You are brought this while your meal is being made.

Spinach & Cheese Empanada

Milanesa De Bife

Gaucho Grill, Argentine Steakhouse, all I can say is this meal was tasty and filled with so much flavor I can’t wait to go back!! Before the entree arrived to the table I started with the bread and the dipping sauces which is always a nice way to start a meal, especially when you are hungry. The Empanada had Ricotta and Parmesan cheese inside with herbs with a nice deep fried outer layer. The Milanesa De Bife was amazing and of course I had to have it with a side of fries. It is steak bread crumbed with lemon and herb flavors. Every bite was tasty perfection! This is definitely a must try, and I will be back!

Salt & Straw

Salt & Straw is where I go when I want fancy ice cream, yes I said fancy. I always get their honey lavender, but they have so many flavor options, and they have diary free ice cream you can choose from as well. They have unique flavors like hazelnut cookies and cream, strawberry honey balsamic with black pepper, and panther coffee chocolate tres leches to name a few. The location I go to closes at 11PM so when late night ice cream is calling you can go knocking!

Venchi

Gelato: Matcha & Tiramisu

Venchi, walking into this place felt like a mini adult Willy Wonka situation and I loved it. There is chocolate along the wall to choose from and you have a little bag to place them in to create your own tasty treat. There are large chocolate pieces in the clear case in the middle of the store and of course who goes into Venchi without getting gelato!! This was so good, and the perfect way to end my evening! I haven’t tried the chocolate yet but I will later today! I anticipate they will be amazing!
